A Shattered Glass HeartWhen a glass pane shatters, each shard breaks into an unique piece, the hairline edges an individual fingerprint. Forensic experts, studying a crime scene, will piece each shard of glass together like a blank jigsaw puzzle until the entire pane is finally laid out before them, complete. I believe hearts that are shattered are very much the same, in that when they break, the pieces that are left behind never look the same. Perhaps, to an apathetic eye, a broken heart looks the same as any other, the the only fools to believe that are ones whom have had no experience in the matter.
